Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 34820
Thai translation wrong.
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:00:01 UTC
Hi. I'm use OpenOffice.org1.1.3 fix2 from CVS and I build with THAI language. After complete, I setup it, I found wrong THIA UI language and I can't read them. I think it is incorrectly in merge processes. Thanks you in advance.
SBA: reassigned to issues@th.
What's wrong with it please? for example, - typos (e.g. Printing vs Printting) - wrong translation (e.g. Abc vs Xyz) - incorrect encoding - etc. Also what's the configuration of your build ? (parameters, etc.) ---- note: at the time when I submitted the translation, I successfully built it with OO.o 1.1.2. Thai messages in setup program and the OO.o apps are going pretty fine. Not sure what's going on after the translation got merged, haven't test the 1.1.3 source yet.
Hi arthit. I found this wrong in all OS (Linux, Windows and others). I think it occured because translation data encoding was incorrected when merged to source files. For examples, the list of file types in open dialog (see attatchment of screenshot file). When i build, i use config parameter as follow : ./configure --with-jdk-home=/opt/j2sdk1.4.2_04 --with-ant-home=/opt/apache-ant-1.6.1 --with-lang=THAI,ENUS I attatch the diff file too.
Created attachment 18793 [details] example of wrong thai translation.
Created attachment 18794 [details] patch file for thai thanslation.
I see, it is in the XML definition, officecfg/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/DataAccess.xcu Confirmed the issue.
so set to NEW, please close issue if the problem is solved with 2.0 devel build anyway
what's the status of this issue ?
move to OOoLater.
