Description richlv 2004-11-04 15:13:51 UTC
this is weird bug that affects both 1.1.3 and 1.9.m58.

open attached document. it was saved with both ole objects on the same page,
each on it's own column.

1.9.m58 : second ole is on the next page always.

1.1.3 : second ole is in the correct place... if this is the only document that
is open (that is, when opening, no other oo.org document may be open). if it's
not, it is positioned on the next page.

additional glitch : position the cursor below the first ole object, press
backspace. sometimes they both are put one on each other (and both are visible).
sometimes they jump out of the section, one below it, another on top of it.
sometimes they jump on top of the text (that was replaced by two dashes). i was
unable to find any connection between other circumstances and their behaviour.

and, to make things more interesting, you nmight want to try to position both
ole objects each in their own column in one section in 1.9.m58. i tried several
times, different ways - it just doesn't stay there.

actually, at the end i just anchored them both to the page & dragged where i
wanted, but that's not exactly the best solution ;)

oh, also when backspace has been pressed below first ole object, undo doesn't
restore previous state

MRU-->OD: Writer does not take the "evenly distribute contents..." in mind
correctly, when trying to format the section, containing two paragraphs where
each object is anchored to. This should be enhanced somehow.
