Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 47011
Displaying Formulas may be cutted in this Version
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:20:02 UTC
Well, i made a Formula as follows left({%DELTA X _i } over { X _i}right) = SQRT {left[{{A _i}^2 + {B _i}^2 + {C _i}^2} over {D _{4711}}^2 right] cdot 15} There are two problems possible: First: The horizontal line of SQRT will be displayed in the middle insted of the top of the formula - all sub-strings and other listed problems are correct. Second: When displayed with correct radical sign (SQRT)in Writer some signs are cut off e.g. 4711 will only be shown with the upper half. As well as lower edges of lbraces.
MRU->TL: please fix with CWS tl11 where similar fixes are planned.
The first problem should be solved when CWS mathlargefonts is integrated. The second problem may have tewo causes: a) Depending on the zoom factor some parts of the scaled brackets may be visible or vanish b) The border of the objects boundary is painted after the formula and thus may 'overwrite' small lines from the formula that happen to be displayed on the same pixel line. TL->OD: You said you can take care of b) by painting the object boundary before displaying the formula content. Please take over. Thanks!
The painting problem could be better reproduced this formula: left[{A + C} over {D} right]
The paint problem also occurs in OOo 1.1.4
Considering the effort, the priority, the risk and our resource planning I've to retarget this issue to OOo Later.
