Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 47191
WW8: tab poositions wrong
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:19:32 UTC
I converted existing Word documents. Some indents were wrong, eg, negative. Some numbers were misformatted, eg, ':1' instead of '1:' Most templates could not be read --let alone converted.

Please attach the native Word document to this issue so that we can reproduce/debug what's wrong during the import process. The attached odt is native Writer format, where the values are already stored wrongly. BTW: the problem regarding the templates should be fixed in newer snapshot builds like 680m93. Try out! Feel free to reopen issue when numbering/indent problem still occurs!

Reopened issue; I have attached the original Word document.
The problem regarding wrong indents is already tracked as issue 33952. Lower the rit is explained: ---- MRU->HBRINKM: The Word import has to be adapted to the fact, that Writer's numberings now can display first line indents. ---- The first line indent in numbered paragraphs is currently evaluated wrongly.
MRU->FLR: in the middle of page 1 (right below "2: Montrer que...") the tab positions a wrongly imported (too far to the right border).
Considering the effort, the priority, the risk and our resource planning I've to retarget this issue to OOo Later.
