Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 51614
Tabulator at same position as indent isn't set
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:17:54 UTC
If a before-text indent of n is set and the first-line indent is -n, then a tabulator at position n won't be set. The layout will be rendered correctly on screen, but as the tab is not saved, the text will look different after saving and reopening. The sample document sets an indent of 6.5 cm and a first line indent of -6.5 cm. For values above 7 cm it seems to work correctly, as well as for whole-value numbers like 5 or 6 cm. It might be important that I'm using the German localisation, so commas are used as the decimal sign like "6,5 cm" for "6.5 cm".

Reassigned to SBA.
pohli, please retest with soon to be released 2.0.4.
Reproduced on Macintosh PPC, OOo 2.1 fr (comma separator too) Works for integer values. Doesn't work for non-integer values, below or above 7,0 cm.
SBA->OS: I tried SRC680m214. Still happens: - open bugdoc - Zoom to 200% (eases to hit 6,50 cm exactly) - click in the first paragraph with "text" - set a tab via click in ruler (exactly above the indent mark) - click in another paragraph click back -> No tab mark visible any more - format-paragraph, tab "Tab" -> No tab is set - set tab at 6,50cm, click "New" - [newly set tab appears in list as expected] - OK - format-paragraph, tab "Tab" -> The set tab is gone. Note: Setting two tabs (6,49 and 6,50cm) via dialog leaves only the 6,49cm tab. Reassigned to OS.
move target to 3.x according http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Target_3x
