Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 54363
TOC without spaces
Last modified: 2014-04-11 10:51:58 UTC
Dear all, if I specify a chaption and include a table of content the original TOC does not include a space between the number and the text. Example: 1 Test 1.1 Small Test Would appear as 1Test 1.1Small Test in the TOC. Where is a workaround by using a space as separator in the outline numbering definition but I believe the missing space in the default setting is not very user friendly and should get fixed. Example document attached. Best regards, Lars

ES->requirements: the default TOC & Indexes structure (Insert - Indexes & Tables - Indexes & Tables - Entries) should be: [E#]<space>[E] and not [E#][E] as it is now because, in most of the cases, the user will want to have a space between the numbering and the entry in the the TOC. Reassigned

Hi! Any news about this issue? I remember that old versions 1.x had this automatic space in the structure of the entries, between the E#(Chapter number) and the E (Entry). Thanks!
