Description fmichel2 2005-10-26 20:00:38 UTC
I use OpenOffice for text and music edition and it is particularily hepful to be
able to overlap two paragraphs, with low value fixed interline.

Where overlapping, the second paragraph appears on top of the first, while
transparency allows to see the first paragraph between top characters.

This works perfectly, in pdf export and on printer as well (see pdf example).
However, on the screen, the second paragraph completely hide the first one, on
the overlapping section: thus, transparency is not performed as in pdf and
printouts.

It will be printed corretly, but on the screen it is a kind of
"performance-optimized" display ;-)
The part of the lower paragraph is clipped.

This transparency issue shows also in two other cases:

1) Fixed line spacing and « subscript » of 50%- 80%, « superscript » of
100% - 80%. The
indexes are hidden by lower / upper lines

2) Fixed line spacing and footnotes index, which are hidden by upper line
