Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 62676
Table autoformats fails on four rows
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:22:13 UTC
With OO.o 2.0.1 I can not create a table style where header cells are separated from normal cells by a thicker line. _________ header _________ content1 --------- content2 --------- content3 --------- content4 _________ OO.o always believes I want to define a style where thick and thin lines alternate in the whole table _________ header _________ content1 --------- content2 _________ content3 --------- content4 _________
This can only be achieved when you first select the header row and apply the desired style. Then select the rest of the table and apply a different style there. The table dialog would be much too large if the border control would be enlaged.
Closed.
The problem is not to style one table manually. The problem is to feed the result to the autoformat component so you can reuse the generic table model later
OK, "Autoformat was the missing information... I tried by myself, but it works fine with hte table I created. Could you please also add a small sample document here, where the table discovers the bug in autoformatting? Thanks again!

MRU->OS: it looks that the table autoformat has problems evaluating the border structure when the table is just four rows large.
Actually I don't know if 4 is the problem It just never worked in real life, don't know how many rows the tables I used to create styles had
