Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 70429
endnotes and headers
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
I have a book with several chapters in OpenOffice 2.0.4, the latest stable version. The endnotes are gathered at the end of each respective chapter, by using a new section for each chapter, as is the standard practice. I have different headers on even (book title) and odd (chapter title) pages. All works OK, APART from when one gets to the area of the endnotes at the end of each chapter. What happens is that the odd page headers in the endnote areas all give the title of chapter one, rather than the title of the chapter to which they belong. Why would this be, and is it possible to get round the problem?
Please attach a sample document and a step by step description of what you do, get and expect.

I've submitted a copy of the document in question: a book with three chapters with several chapters in OpenOffice 2.0.4, the latest stable version. The endnotes are gathered at the end of each respective chapter, by using a new section for each chapter, as is the standard practice. I have different headers on even (book title) and odd (chapter title) pages. The problem is that the odd page headers in the endnote areas all give the title of chapter one, rather than the title of the chapter to which they belong.
