Description kpalagin 2008-12-25 11:44:33 UTC
OO would not correctly show non-latin characters if locale is uppercased, that
is /usr/lib/X11/locale/ru_RU.utf-8 is not interpreted. Changing that to .UTF-8
makes OO behave as expected.

SBA->kpalagin: Do you have a reproducible user scenario for this?
SBA->HDU: Please proceed, thx.

I suspect psprint's fontmanager picks up different numbers of fonts depending on the locale.
@pl: AFAIK we have no influence on what X11+FC report for font paths. Maybe there is a workaround
possible if the locale is set wrongly.

@kpalagin: please find the file pspfontcache (usually somewhere ~/.openOffice.org-3/user/psprint).
Delete it. Then run the office in each of the locale settings and compare the differences in the regenerated pspfontcache file for each situation.
